Our Story
Early Outreach in Lungalunga
The journey began when the Sisters from Ukunda regularly visited Lungalunga to conduct medical camps and outreach programs. Patients were treated in an open space outside the church compound because there was no proper medical facility in the area.
A Life-Changing Visit – 2009
In 2009, Sr. Regina Nthenya met Papa Helmut during his visit to Lungalunga. He saw the Sisters treating patients outside and was deeply moved by their dedication and the needs of the community.
