About St. Angelo Primary School
Founded in 2011, St. Angelo Primary School has grown from a small beginning into a thriving learning community committed to academic excellence and holistic development.
Our Humble Beginning
St. Angelo Primary School was founded in January 2011 with 36 learners across three classes. The school began with a dedicated team of three teachers, one groundsman, and one cook who worked together to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment for the pupils.Early Support and Sponsorship
During the early stages of the school, St. Angelo received sponsorship from Campvuur and Opsterland. Their support included:- Construction of one classroom each year
- Sponsorship for ten pupils annually
- Encouragement for the school’s development
Leadership and Growth
The school was founded and first led by Sr. Juliana, who served as head of the institution until 2016. Under her leadership, the school built a strong academic and community foundation.
In 2016, Sr. Josephine took over leadership and oversaw the first Class Eight candidates, who achieved an impressive mean score of 344, marking an important academic milestone.
Continued Development
In September 2019, leadership of the school was handed over to Sr. Mary Mulwa, who continues to guide the school today. Under her leadership, the institution has continued expanding both academically and structurally.The School Today
