Founded in the year 2000, St. Irene Montessori Teachers Training College has grown into a leading institution committed to training professional early childhood educators.
The college was established by the visionary Sisters of St. Joseph of the Archdiocese of Mombasa. Strategically situated in Mikindani, just 500 meters off the Mombasa–Nairobi highway, the college answered a vital call to equip young men and women with specialized pedagogical skills.
